I wanted to weaken his legs, and use a lot of movement in my fight. I knew he was a good boxer and that i had to watch out for his right hook. Third round, i was trying to step in more and i ended up paying for it twice. I didn't know he dropped me twice till I re watched the video. However , i don't feel he did enough when he dropped me to take a 10-8 round. I therefore felt good about my earned decision. My jaw was sore from that hook. Props to Tito Jones. Now I'm off to vietnam for ten days. And than i'll stop by vegas the day i get back for my friends bachelor party. see you june 1, 2009

Affliction After Fight Thoughts

After my January 24, 09 fight at Affliction i was very disappointed with my outcome. I Lacked the ability to finish in a fight, the cardio to go all 3 rounds strong, and i mentally broke down and gave up during the fight. This was my first lost since 2006. However, i learned a lot from this lost and plan on training harder future upcoming fights. I have no real excuses but i have to make some to make my self feel better mentally. I did take the fight on short notice, however, i thought i was in better shape than i really was for the fight. Also leaving No Limits at the time caused a little bit of distress on me also. LC Davis also was a very strong opponent and had a great game plan going into the fight with me. LC Davis also said he would rematch me and i would love the opportunity to fight him again with a proper training camp going into the fight. However, the rematch is up to the promoters.
